Gen. Bipin Rawat, his wife and 11 others killed in Chopper Crash in Coonoor,
Tamil Nadu:
Chief of Defense Staff Gen Bipin Rawat, and 12
others including his wife died in Mi-17V5 helicopter crash in Connor, Tamil
Nadu. Mr. Rajnath Singh has conveyed the news of Gen Bipin Rawat’s Demise.
People all over the world paid tributes to the India’s Top Military Commander.
Gen Rawat was appointed as India’s Chief of Defence Staff in the year 2019, he
not only brought the Army but also Navy and Air force.

IDEA the top
International Democracy body invited Sunil Arora to join as Board of Advisors:
Sunil Arora the former Chief Election Commissioner
(CEC) has been invited by IDEA (International Institute for Democracy and
Electoral Assistance) for joining the
board of Advisers. It has a 15 member board of advisers, in which all the
personalities are from a well known background. Idea was established in 27th
February1995. It is an intergovernmental organization based in Stockholm,
Sweden, while India is one of the founding members of this Institute.

Sanjiv Mehta is appointed
as President at FCCI:
Sanjiv Mehta has been announced as President, who is
the Chairman and Managing Director of Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) by FCCI
also known as Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry. FCCI was
founded in 1927, while its headquarters is located in New Delhi.

wearable Keychain is launched by City Union & NPCI:
For Debit Card customers of City Union Bank (CUB),
CUB ha initiated a plan in collaboration with National Payments
Corporation of India (NPCI) and its manufacturing
partner Seshaasai, has announced the launch of RuPay On-the-Go
contactless wearable keychain, this Keychain will enable customers to tap and
make cashless payments securely. Its name, On-the Go Solution allow the
customer to carry payment cards on their Key chains & make a payment up to ₹5,000
without entering a PIN. To enable the faster check out and shorter queue time, in
every possible generation, this On-the-Go wearable Keychain are introduced by City
Union Bank

Jnanpith Awarad to
be received by Nilmani
Phookan Jr and Damodar Mauzo:
The
Country’s highest literary award, the
Jnanpith is bestowed on writers Damodar Mauzo & Nilmani Phookan
Jr . Assamese poet Nilmani Phookan Jr won the 56th Jnanpith
Award while, Konkani novelist Damodar Mauzo won the 57th
Jnanpith Award. This Award was instituted in 1961 and is given only to Indian
writers who write in Indian languages & English. This is a literary award
presented by the Bharatiya Jnanpith organization to Indian writers every year.
